Spend all day in the chilled ambience of Cuatre Finques relaxing by the pool or sitting in a shaded spot enjoying a glass of vino.  

Evening meals are available 3 nights per week. Light lunches can be pre-ordered at breakfast time or prepared in the honesty kitchen. 

For groups and special occasions other meals can be arranged in advance.

Xaló has fiestas throughout the year (1st weekend in May, first 10 days in August & 3rd weekend in October) with various activities including bull running, processions, wine tasting, fun runs, giant paellas and partying until the sun comes up. 
The team can provide information on all that's going on during fiesta time and can arrange tickets and for you to join in like a local if you fancy!

Set in a wine making valley it goes without saying wine is just part of the culture.  Trips to the bodegas (wine shops) are always interesting where you can usually sample the wines before buying (at very good prices).  Other activities such as group wine tastings (at the Cooperativa), a tour of the local bodegas (Pepe Mendoza, Bodegas Riko or Gutierrez de la Vega) and, in mid to late September, grape 'stomping' can be arranged at an old wine museum (Masserof).

This is a renowned area for cycling. There are 6 mountain bikes at Cuatre Finques for you to use (free of charge) on the easier routes around the valley and vineyards. For the more serious cyclists or if you prefer something a little more challenging there is bike hire locallywn (priced at around 20-30€ per day).  There are many great mountain tracks and the mountain roads are excellent.

There are so many lovely walks in and around the Xaló Valley, even straight from your bedroom door.  We can recommend different routes and provide useful maps.  And if you would prefer one of our staff can accompany you as a guide and explain about the local flora and fauna along the way (29€ per walk of ~1-2hrs).

There are numerous Spanish towns within easy reach, many with interesting shops and boutiques.  Try the old town of Altea for some wonderful one-off dresses or Denia's Marques de Campo for a true Spanish shopping experience with a wine & tapas along the way.  On Saturday mornings you can walk the 800m from Cuatre Finques to the Xaló Rastro (flee market) for some great vintage curios. On the first Saturday of each month there is a farmer's market in the centre of town and every Tuesday the fruit & veg 'mercat'.

There are lots of lovely beaches within easy reach of Cuatre Finques.  Many can be reached within a 20-30 minute drive.  There are large sandy beaches in Xabia, Calpe, Moraria & Denia, interesting little coves with 'chiringuito' beach bars in Benissa, or the crystal clear turquoise waters (great for snorkelling) at Granadella.  Cuatre Finques can help you with information and directions to all the local beaches.

Enjoy a lazy afternoon of petanca with an ice cold beer on the purpose-built court at Cuatre Finques.  Although traditionally a French game it is also a very popular pastime in Spain.  Just askthe team for free use of the boules set.

Enjoy early morning or late evening yoga or pilates outside in the warm air.  Bookings must be made in advance and are priced from 55€ph (up to 6 people).  Yoga is available complimentary one morning  per week at 08:15 (from mid-May to end-Sept).
