​Cuatre Finques is situated on the edge of Xaló, in amongst vineyards and almond trees with mountains views all around, yet only 800m (10 mins walk) to the restaurants, bars and shops of town.

The Costa Blanca is often misunderstood as a loud and brash holiday resort but away from the built-up coastline you will find a beautiful part of real Spain with arguably one of the best climates and some of the best & freshest food in the world.
Xaló Valley

The Xaló Valley (also known as Vall de Pop) is situated in a peaceful rural setting of olive & almond trees, vineyards and orange groves. It is made up of 8 charming villages located along the Xaló river with Xaló as the hub. The 8 villages are Lliber, Alcalali, Parcent, Murla, Senija, Benigembla, Castell de Castells and of course Xaló itself, all within 5-20 minutes drive.

Xaló (also spelt Jalon, and pronounced "halon") is a small Spanish wine-making town in the Marina Alta region of the Costa Blanca. With the towns and beaches of Denia, Javea, Moraira and Altea only 20-30 minutes away and the idyllic Xaló Valley and wonderful Sierra Bernia mountain range on your doorstep. Xaló is an ideal base to enjoy the best bits of the Costa Blanca.

Xaló is a lovely little Spanish town with various claims to fame including its blue-roofed church and 'plaza major' - great for enjoying some tapas and a glass of vino while watching the world go by, its Mistela dessert wine (once a favourite of the King of Spain!), its Saturday Rastro (flee market), beautiful almond blossom in early Spring and its naturally produced honey. Being the biggest of all the villages in the Valley, Xaló has various artisan shops, two good sized supermarkets (Mas y Mas, My Mercat), several bodegas (wine shops where you can try before you buy), a Tuesday fruit & veg market, a pharmacy & Medical Centre, numerous banks, an excellent butcher (Companatge) and renowned bakers (La Vicentica & Francis). In addition there are various restaurants and bars in and around the area that are well worth a visit.

At various times throughout the year, but in particular the first weekend in May, the first two weeks in August and the third week in October, Xaló is in "fiesta". These are fun times of the year when you can join in with the local events. These include bull running, cycling, eating and drinking on the streets, live music & dancing until the sun comes up and more.
